He belongs to the Lancaster School Sold muskets to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under a 1797 act Maker of Kentucky style rifles and pistols From the information found in the National Archives it seems that the contract was for Brong, Guest and Henry. Which Guest and Henry I do not know. Delivered were: January 13, 1809 - 65 Pistols July 6, 1809 - 184 Pistols (inspector was Thomas Palmer) July 8, 1809 - 66 Pistols July 14, 1809 - 9 Boxes of Pistols August 16, 1809 - 1 Box of Pistols September 19, 1810 - 184 Pistols totally - 499 Pistols & 11 Boxes |
